Film distributor The Asylum is back again, this time with a mockbuster targeting the upcoming action film Bullet Train and the Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock-led classic, Speed.

The upcoming film, titled Bullet Train Down, sees a group of passengers taking part in the maiden voyage of a bullet train en route to San Francisco. However, a nefarious threat has planted a bomb on the train, and ordered that the train stay above a rate of 200 mph, or else the bomb will explode.

For those familiar with The Asylum, this should come as no surprise, as the distributor often releases films to go along with other major blockbusters, this time targeting the upcoming Bullet Train and the legendary action film Speed. Previous films from The Asylum include the Sharknado series, the Syfy original series Z Nation, and more, including a recent Thor: Love and Thunder film.

Bullet Train Down will release on July 29, 2022, in select theaters and on-demand.
